Had a medium sized one today. A 5th grader's mom brought about 10 boxes of doughnuts from Krispy Kreme for whatever. 3 of them were left in the office. I work in the office after lunch and the boxes were on the counter right outside my door. I didn't have one. Didn't even touch one "accidentally" and lick the sugar....and I was fasting today!

How about you? Any victories to share?

Good distance, good workout, keep it up, and you're bound to get in better shape. Yep, a bicycle computer is great fun and practical too. Some times reading those figures on the small screen, spur you on to do just a little better than last time.

Remeasured distance using largest magnification of the map. Distance turns out to be 32km.

Just measured the distance from the school front gate to just in front of my apartment building on an interactive map of Seoul. It measured 30.84km. Taking into account real life v computer map, the actual distance is somewhere between 30 and 35km is my best guesstimate. Takes me about 1hr 20 - 25min to complete that as of yesterday's pb. My watch was under 3 layers, so I didn't time it. Think I'll buy a "bicycle computer" to measure real distance and time. Give me real numbers to aim for time wise. To give it perspective, when I go by bus and subway, because they cut through the city, the distance is closer to 25km for them - and now I can get home faster on the bike.
Now that's way cool :)

Yep, you do! I have a bunch of pants that no longer fit either - but for the other reason. Told the wife not to throw them out, 'cause them buggers gonna fit before long!

Yay you is right :) You are a real inspiration John, and a great friend.

Had a client last night who was "complaining" that none of her pants fit anymore ... they're falling off :)

Gotta love success stories!

Big one today. Last year I was cutting new holes in my belt as I lost inches. I'd lost ground and was 3 holes back when I restarted my fat loss. Today I was able to fasten the belt using the last hole. It was a wee bit tight I'll admit, but not uncomfortably so - didn't have to suck in the gut and hold to force it.
Yay me!

From Mike Geary

Via Facebook, here's a YouTube clip from 60 minutes on sugar's effect on the human body:http://www.truthaboutabs.com/toxic-sugar.htmlI'm so grateful that RFLB got me off sugar in my coffee - dad used to ask me if I wanted coffee with my sugar, that's how bad it was ... before! If I also have to give up cream ... then I switch to tea!See More
