Q: I just read EODD but i do not understand many things. What is the difference between the SNAPP and the feed meal what can i eat in the feed meal ( a big mac, perhaps??) how many carbs do i have to eat every day and in which of my meals?

A: SNAPP is a system of eating. The system contains two days: Burn Days (low carb, low calorie days consisting of a shake in the morning, nuts and apples for snacks rather than a large lunch, then protein and produce (veggies) at night. )

Feed Days incorporate any food you wish as outlined in the book for specific meals.

A Big Mac; For lunch on your Feed Day! What I do is cut the burger in half and then get TWO Feed Meals that day out of one. :)

You never count carbs on EODD -- it's all outlined in the plan. The carbs count 'themselves' for the most part.

Hope that helps!

Hi Jon,
Ive just downloaded the EODD! im excited and on day 1.
I just want to clarify some things...
Im down with SNAPP..
Today i had... shake, nuts, apple, small salad at lunch then dinner was salad with egg whites. I had another apple during the day cause i was hungry (and grumpy!) Im just wondering how much protein is enough. My weight is approx 64kg therefore im looking at approx 115g protein. With Protein in my shake and protein at night it means im looking at eating quite a bit ... tonight i had a salad of cucumber, tomato, red onion and capsicum (red pepper) and 2 boiled eggs without the yolk... im full but is this enough protein?? At lunch i added a tbls or 2 of low fat cottage cheese which is low low in cals but high in protein.
Im just a little confused by it all.
Sorry! i feel like i should get it. ha.

Cheers!

Q: Beth asked: Hi Jon! I've been following you since the beginning of the year and was one of your first 200 friends on Facebook as well. I just purchased the 7 Minute Muscle and Every Other Day Diet combination kit.

I have one question so far...How do the DCC's work throughout the week? Should they be used as an extra meal in the week or used as a FEED meal? Or should they be used as a 4th feeding meal? I'm sure it's operator error on my part figuring it out. Thanks for all the advise and newsletters! I'm sorry it tooks so long for me to purchase your books! I have kept most of all your newletters and e-mails for reference. I just wish I started earlier! Beth

You are an inspiration and hope we can meet someday! In Health and Fitness!...Beth

A: Hi Beth!

Great to hear from you... and thanks so much for the kind words. The DCCs can be used one of two ways: As a break in the week from the typical SNAPP formula, or as a Feed meal -- although I suggest having a least one "really" free meal so you can just get out and enjoy yourself. But you will shed the fat faster if you actually use DC Meals as Feed Meals, that's for sure.

If you are on the LifeStyle plan, you can definitely use DCCs more often... and yes, that includes your 4th meal.

Thanks!

Jon

Hi Jon,

Can you help me retrieve my eodd 2.0? I purchased the eodd last year and this Feb. my computer crashed, deleting all my pdf's. Can you re-send these or tell me which day 2.0 was sent so I can find it again myself?
Thanks so much! No other diet will help me!

Q: Liinda asked: Is it best to start with the Radical Fatloss Blueprint and then continue on with EODD?

I just bought EODD and haven't read it yet. I am 5'5" and weigh 145 lbs. I am aiming for 132-135lbs so I don't really need to lose 21. Should I just stay on the RFBD until I get to my desired weight and then switch over to EODD for maintenance?

I also would like to start 7 Minute Muscle to help with muscle strength. I suffer from sciaticia nerve pain in my lower back and hip and leg. Some resistance training causes me pain and starts it up again. Will the 7 Minute Muscle be ok for me to do?

A: Hi Linda!

First, you can start with Radical Fatloss Blueprint -- and you definitely should continue with Every Other Day Diet and 7 Minute Muscle. If you visit RadicalFatlossBlueprint.com you can actually get both books in the Gold Membership in printed format or all FOUR of my books in the Platinum Membership, plus me coaching you.

Thanks!

Q: Dylan asked: What about calroies do i have to watch those?

A: Hi Dylan,

Not so much on the Extreme Plan. We try to avoid calorie-counting on any plan. If you just eat until your satisfied, that's really all you have to worry about.

Q: Dylan asked: Alright...what is an example of the Extreme plan layed out.. it says to consume 20 grams of protein per meal but if you are body building or doing this for sports (i am 150)how would you consume protein through out the day while doing SNAPP.for Xtreme plan?

pg 63 (66) "i tend to be a protein hound i try to gobble down about 200-300 grams of the stuff everyday"

oh and on your feed day could you ..lets say.... consume lke 3000 calries? having the 6 meals and consuming all the protein.?

oh and what are examples of foods with fiber??

A: Hi Dylan,

Extreme Plan is not charted -- it goes by macronutrients. A good guideline would be to eat a palm-sized serving of protein minimum or double that maximum per meal. This would give you 200+ grams protein per day.

On Extreme, I never say 20 grams per meal -- that's for the SNAPP recommendations, and Extreme is not SNAPP.

Fiber foods would include any green veggies on Extreme, plus raw carrots.

Q: Sheryl asked: Got my supplements so that when we get back on 4/9 (Thurs.) I can get the food I need for that first week and get going on Monday!!! So it only took 6 or 7 days for it to arrive from the time I got my invoice!!! Way to go Jon and Crew!!!! So, guess I should ask a question......OK: should I stop taking all my other supplements (Vit. D3, Bone Strength (Optimum Nutrition); VGF 25+ from the Tribiustol company (I get Trib too); CLA1250/Krill Oil/Sesamin, Chromium Picolinate, Amino 2222, Lutein and Celadrin.). No prob if I need to stop them for now.....I know a couple of them are "doubles" of what you have in the pac, so of course would use the supps you sent and in the dose you recommend. Sherry

A: Hi Sheryl,

Stop with the CLA and the aminos unless you're referring to my aminos.

Thanks!

Q: Monica asked: Hi Jon, I'd be interested to know how we can solve the problem of the international delivery. I live in Holland and the last time I received 4 bottles of Tribustol I had to go to the post off. and pay 50 euros for customs tax. Other times I had ordered only 2 bottles so they delivered straight to my house without extra charges but when the packet gets bigger they charge you hard ! I've already ordered the supps for the 21 day diet. I hope to be able to benefit from any solution you come up with before they get send to me. I can't even imagine how hard I will be hit by customs this time! Please keep us posted and thank you for your efforts.

A: Hi Monica,

Unfortuntately this is entirely out of our hands and in the hands of the various customs and tax laws internationally. Usually this is based on weight, so the weight of the RFLB will no-doubt be more than the weight of 4 bottles of Tribustol Plus.

I know, it really bites... but it's an issue that's out of our hands here in the U.S. I can say that we've added things to help this out for RFLB, including a print-out for Int. orders of the contents. That should at least speed things up.

Keep me posted on what happens please.

Thanks!

Q: A reader asked: Hi Jon, have you ever heard of apples causing bloating, cramping and gas? I swear, it happens almost immediately and while I'm eating my apple. I usually only eat 1 fuji apple, organic most of the time.

I just figured it's because of the fiber. But I put 5+ grams of power fiber in my shake and I don't have that side effect.

Anyway, I wonder if you've heard of that happening and if there's anythign I can do prior to eating the apple to maybe alleviate this side effect.

I eventually go back to normal after an hour or so but sometimes, it's really uncomfortable.

Your thoughts?

A: Yes I have. It's usually due to the fructose concentration, not the fiber. And, sometimes you can just have a bad reaction to apples.

Simple solution: Switch to pears. We can find out if it's the lactose or the apple, and you'll receive most all the benefits of the apple with a pear.

Thanks!

Q: Meredith asked: Hi, I am new and I can't seem to figure out where some of the foods I like fit in to EODD (I am starting w/ the Lifestyle 1 plan)

corn and peas (produce or carb or feed days only)
avacado (produce or fat)
cheese (protein or feed days only)
tomatos, carrots, and red peppers (produce but can I have them for feeding 5)

Thanks for the help.

A: Hi Meredith!

Starting with the Lifestyle 1 Plan is a good idea if you want to include some of the more starchy foods on your list.

Corn should be left to your DCC meals and your Feed Day meals. That's several times as week, which should work out nice for you. It's a bit high in starch for fat loss. Peas are high in amylose, another sugar, so again I would limit them to your Feed Days.

Avacado is fine on Burn Days or Feed Days. Enjoy it with your salad and protein at night. Just go easy on the servings and you'll be fine. It is considered a fat.

Cheese -- I use it on both Burn and Feed days. On Burn Days I use limited amounts of mozzarella. Again, moderation is key on Burn Days.

Tomatos, carrots and red peppers: all fine except I would make sure you eat the carrots raw. Then you can have all you want.

Thanks!

Jon
