Also, you should get a tape measure and do your measurements so you can tell if you are loosing fat and gaining muscle even if your weight stays the same or doesn't go down as much as you would like. At a min measure: neck, chest, waist, hips, thigh, calf, upper arm - write them down now so you have something to compare to in six weeks or so.
Next time you get rid of 5-6 pounds of excess fat, STOP! Remain at that weight for a week, then start again - 5 more lbs. Bingo, that's 10-11 gone ;-)
Seriously, EODD will help you get more than just 5 lbs off. Combine it with the training outlined in the book, or use 7 Minute Body; as well as a brisk walk every day.
