Great to read your story Paul - I'm sure you're not alone feeling trapped in traditional diets. EODD is, I agree, a stroke of genius and a plan that works because it has so many options and possibilities that will fit any of life's…

Things Are Really Going Great This Time

I am not sure why I have to always figure things out the second time around, but I guess that is just one of my failings.  I bought the Every Other Day Diet over a year ago and floundered around with it.I just didn't take it seriously and kept telling myself the tomorrow I would start in earnest--ha!Finally I got tired of carrying around 50 extra pounds and I went on the hCG diet.  It was pretty brutal, but I lost a lot of weight because I didn't cheat at all. After losing the weight I gained…See More

I was at about 187.5 lbs when I got off of hCG and now I am about 195.  I would like to end up a 185.

I'm Back!

Well, I'm back and ya' know what? I am committed this time and losing weight. When I first git the Every Other Day Diet I thought I was serious but I wasn't. I just floundered around with it a bit. Then I went on the hCG diet protocol, brutal but fast, I lost about 42 lbs in as many days. When I got off from that the weight started coming back. That is when I pulled out EODD again. Thank Goodness!Compared to hCG, this is a breeze and boy am I enjoying it. I guess hCG set me up for success with…See More

Ok, here goes. I have gained 30 lbs since losing my job last July (yes, I am an emotional eater). The funny thing is, I haven't gotten anything out of it except a temporary high, acid reflux, and a general decline in health. Body: I am…

About Me:
H1, I found Jon's EODD diet while learning to be an affiliate marketer. I was promoting another weight-loss product that encouraged me to set up a website that compared several diets--theirs being at the top of course. The funny thing is EODD kept selling and I never did get a sale from that other diet. After promoting EODD for awhile I bught it myself because I knew I wasn't in shape. Boy am I glad I did.

as far as micro/macro nutrients are concerned I think that what is really important is to have a diet that has a wide range of food items.. It is so easy to restrict your diet to include only the "healthiest" items.. However I believe that…

The more you see or read, you realize that you can find proponents of nearly every thinkable diet, with emphasis on nearly every macro/micro nutrient there is. And the more you come full circle, you start to think that maybe, just maybe, my…

I agree - I've done the Atkins thing even (shuddering in horror). Actually, a moderated Atkins is not a bad thing. Montignac is probably on the right track with his plan - only he suggests lobster, foie gras and caviar as staple foods, and…

I've managed with cats no problem :) well ok, with problems, but never this extreme :) have to use ruse with cats. But if the cat trusts you, it'll let you medicate it. Cats are just too smart to just take your word for it, they want to…
