Hi,
I have a question regarding the effect the plan may have on your mood. I am currently at the end of Day 4 of the program. While I have been doing well in sticking to the diet and supplements, I awoke today feeling very tired and emotionally overwhelmed (i.e. very weepy). I am not usually this way inclined...quite the opposite and am quite startled. I am wondering if there is any way the diet and/or supplements could have this effect. I am definitely not considering giving up, but am concerned. I have scanned through previous forum posts and so far cannot find similar reports but wonder if you happen to know if this could be related to the diet for example a hormonal disturbance? Hopefully this will pass but thought I'd ask.
Thanks.

Most people including myself experience an increased awareness, sort of lightheadedness, especially during the first detox week. Its as if your body getting rid of a lot of unnecessary stuff, triggers an equivalent lightening of your mind.
My own personal theory goes more along the lines of commitment, sinledmindedness, determination and focus. You are so tuned in on doing the RFLB and achieve the desired result, that you focus so much of your energy on complying with schedules and supplement intake, that most everything else take second priority. This increased focus on a single purpose is also a relief, freeing your mind of daily proritization, since RFLB is already up there on 1st place. RFLB is as much an intellectual challenge as it is physical. In this lies also the key to success. The better you are at focusing singlemindedly on RFLB, the better your result will be.
After this rather elaborated detour, my answer to you is that RFLB is certain to have an effect on your mood, and in your case the effect is so overwhélming that it affects you negatively. My guess is that come 2nd week you will be so much more tuned in on the workings of RFLB, and you will start seeing results, that your mood swings will be more positive.
Hope this helps explain some of the effects of RFLB, but keep reporting back, so we can follow your experiences.

Both insulin and cortisol and a host of other hormones are "out of whack" and not quite knowing whether they are coming or going so to speak. This can easily have an impact on your mood.
Though neither pregnancies nor cycles have had any particular impact on my moods, I have noticed some ... shall we call them internal upheavals?... during extreme fat burning periods. Not only RFLB but also when I followed BFFM 6 years ago with no supplement at all.
So no, I wouldn't "blame" the RFLB supps for this, but rather your own body trying to cope with the changes and wondering how to replace the hormones in their rightful places.
On another, though related, note; I have just e-mailed someone regarding your other issue ;-) hope to have that resolved for you fast!
