About The Author
Jon Dana Benson is an internationally recognized transformation life-coach, specializing in mental strategies for the excellence lifestyle, fat-burning nutrition and superior physical fitness. Jon used his experience to build the much acclaimed M-PowerFitness - a coaching program which reaches thousands of clients the world over. He is also the creator and co-author of Fit Over 40 (the #2 selling digital fitness guide in the world), The Every Other Day Diet, 7 Minute Body, and The Radical Fat Loss Blueprint. Jon is a graduate from MIT in Los Angeles, California and Abilene Christian University, degreed in Human Communications and Philosophical Studies. Because The Every Other Day Diet is designed to slowly ween you off of unhealthy foods, as opposed to shocking your system with a radical lifestyle change, there are relatively few risks associated with following our dietary suggestions. A very small percentage of people may experience:

  • Mild to moderate headaches, if you are used to consuming high amounts of caffeine and sugar currently. This is a normal detoxification reaction, and should only last a few days at most. If you follow the suggested started detox phase, these symptoms may be more acute. Again, this is the natural reaction of your body to the reduction of chemicals and overly-processed foods. Depending on the Plan you select within the EODD System, you may experience a small degree of bloating if your current fiber intake is not where it should be. Once your body adjusts to the natural fiber recommendations found in EODD, this problem should disappear quickly.
  • As with any dietary or exercise change, always consult with your doctor before selecting the EODD Plan you wish to follow (we include 4 within the EODD System.) This is even more crucial if you are currently taking prescription medications or if you have a current medical condition. If you are currently taking high blood pressure medication or medication for diabetes, you may need to work with your doctor to change the dose and/or medication over time. Please only do so after consulting your physician.

To-date, there are absolutely no known long-term risks for reducing processed food intake and consuming a healthy diet.
